02 Key Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care: Provide patient assessments, administer medications, and manage patient care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Vital Sign Monitoring: Continuously monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and recovery processes to ensure optimal care and outcomes.
- Collaboration with Medical Team: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans for patients.
- Assisting with Procedures: Prepare and assist during diagnostic or therapeutic procedures as required.
- Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies, providing life-saving care as needed.
03 Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensing: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply.
